Manipultatives

Using manipulatives such as the ones presented lie counting color connecting cubes, building blocks, shape pieces, alphabet keys, stacking toys, etc are very vital towards children’s recognition while playing and how to count/ visualize the purpose of the toys they are interacting with. They are more exposed to toys that serve for cognitive development and mobility through the hands. It is important to maintain use of real life objects such as bottle caps shown below and other materials like dominoes, stones and buttons that can serve as counting colorful pieces as well children are able to manipulate to their use though stacking sorting and counting. It is important to label objects in both languages as well.
