Having this comfortable space where children can sit and engage in reading is important so that they can establish their own position when reading crucial stories. Having diverse and multicultural readings are very vital for children to be exposed to different customs or traditions than their own. If you look closet there is a selection of books provided that seem diverse in genres and some books that incorporate english and spanish/ different ethnicities regarding characters. Keep in mind that there should be a theme to incorporate with the books as well instead of keeping it a normal selection and reading out loud to the children is very important so they know what fluency sounds like. Having additional props and children read a sentence or two can also definitely add enjoyable learning while it remains effective in putting into practice plot elements. Fidgets and soft toys can be found here as well to deal with over stimulation.
