Circle Time/ Music and Movement

In circle/group time there is an opportunity to truly get children to be expressive and show their knowledge/ participation in engagement over the content. There can be children who express their mood or get the chance to recognize how the weather is, showing them numbers while describing the date, etc. There is so many instances where children are able to communicate and be shown crucial education that can serve as stepping stones. Singing songs and getting children to move/ dance while singing songs in spanish and english can encourage them to be included in the bilingual world as well. There is a specific activity within circle time that display types of food groups that can be inclusive and practice translanguaging when doing the activity in group time. There is so many ways to exert dual language learning in this time. In addition reading time/ story time is done here where children can start using their emerging literacy skills to become early readers.
